Being charged for group licentiousness can result in a jail sentence of up to five years. Violent protests have broken out in Zhengzhou, China, following contract disputes at the world’s biggest Apple iPhone factory, according to videos posted on social media and verified by NBC News. The footage was taken near the Foxconn factory, in the streets of the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, where large groups of people blocked roads during their protest. Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic has been granted a visa to compete in the Australian Open in January, the Australian government confirmed on Thursday, a year after he was deported from the country over his refusal to be vaccinated against Covid-19. Djokovic’s visa was canceled on arrival in Melbourne last January when his vaccination exemption was questioned, and he was deported 10 days later after losing an appeal. Five lions managed to escape their enclosure at an Australian zoo Wednesday, sparking a brief emergency as officials rushed to contain them. The lions — four cubs and a male adult named Ato — slipped loose from the enclosure at Sydney’s Taronga Zoo due to “an integrity issue with a containment fence,” the zoo said in a statement early Wednesday.
